Quinte West firefighters were called to action Friday afternoon.
Crews were called to the westbound lanes on 401 near County Road 40 at approximately 4:20 p.m. for reports of a vehicle on fire.
When they arrived the vehicle was fully involved and they got to work extinguishing the flames.
The fire was taken care of and there were no injuries reported.
