An arrest made Thursday night at Belleville cemetery had nothing to do with a recent series of incidents involving vandalism at local cemeteries and another in Kingston.
Belleville police, on patrol in the cemetery at around 8:30, spotted a suspicious vehicle and questioned the driver.
Investigation led officers to learn the 32-year-old Quinte West man was wanted on charges by Quinte West OPP and Kingston Police.
The unidentified man was turned over to Quinte West OPP where he has been a future court date.
