There was a crash Thursday morning in Quinte West.
Shortly after 8:00 a.m., emergency crews responded to Old Highway 2, near Aikins Road.
Callers to Quinte News say that an SUV slammed into a hydro pole near Hospice Quinte and Bayside Secondary School.
Old Highway 2’s eastbound lanes are closed, and there is a detour onto Aikins Road, onto Hamilton Road.
