The Trenton Curling Club has received a $45,500 grant from the provincial government.
The money, delivered by the Ontario Trillium Foundation, will be used to cover operating costs for the 2021-2022 curling season.
This will free up resources to cover many costs attributed to opening after being closed last year due to COVID-19.
The club is also offering a 10% reduction in fees to anyone wanting to curl with the hope of bringing the community back to recreational curling.
The Trenton Curling Club has been serving the Quinte West area for more than 60 years.
