Building activity in the Brighton area is up significantly over last year.
There were 33 permits with a construction value of $10.6 million issued last month.
In October 2020, 22 permits worth $5.6 were taken out.
The increase in year-to-date totals is even more pronounced with 261 permits worth $113.1 million issued through October 31.
That compares with 135 permits with a construction value of $26.7 million during the first nine months of 2020.
