There’s good news for Belleville and area hockey players and other recreational skaters.
At Monday’s city council meeting Mayor Mitch Panciuk announced that the health unit did not require the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre’s Family Dental Centre arena for a mass COVID-19 vaccination clinic.
Public Health had requested the use of the arena to vaccinate children aged 5 to 11 but has since decided its vaccination clinic in the Wellness Centre’s gymnasium will be big enough for any increased demand.
