Trenton’s Knights of Columbus has made a $7,500 donation to Hospice Quinte’s Heart & Home Building Campaign for the new Stan Klemencic Care Centre.
The funds come from the Knights of Columbus’ virtual walk-a-thon which was held in October.
“The Knights of Columbus vigorously defend the dignity of each human being at every stage of life,” says Bruce Bellefeuille, Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council 2438 in Trenton. “The work Hospice Quinte does aligns with our core values and we are pleased to support Hospice Quinte with our donation today.”
This latest gift has helped Hospice Quinte reach over 95% of its $9.5 million capital campaign goal in support of the hospice palliative care centre located on Old Highway 2 in Bayside.
