The province has announced some big dollars for long term care in Northumberland County.
$2.74 million was announced this week by MPP David Piccini, who oversees Northumberland-Peterborough South.
The money is part of the province’s commitment towards four hours of direct care by 2024-25.
The funds include $118,000 to Burnbrae Gardens in Campbellford, and up to $720,000 more than current funding by 2024-25.
Maplewood in Brighton is to receive $132,000 this year, $807,000 by 2024-25.
Warkworth Place is getting $214,000 more this year, $1.31 million over current funding by 2024-25.
