There’s been a change of heart when it comes to this year’s Operation Red Nose in the Quinte region.
In a press release issued Monday morning, Red Nose Quinte’s Board of Directors announced that once again it will not be offering the safe ride home service over the holiday season due to continuing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Board of Directors believes its first priority is the safety of not only clients but also its many volunteers.
Recently Red Nose announced it would offer a modified service beginning in late November but that decision has been reconsidered.
