There were two new cases of COVID-19 reported Wednesday in Hastings and Prince Edward counties.
One of the new infections was discovered in Prince Edward County and the other in north Hastings County and one was found in an unvaccinated person and the other in someone fully vaccinated.
With one recovery there are now 16 active cases in Hastings-Prince Edward.
No one is being treated in hospital.
There were no new cases of COVID-19 reported Tuesday in the two counties, the first time that had happened since late July.
In Northumberland County, the number of active cases is down to two after no new cases were reported by the HKPRDHU on Wednesday.
