The list of candidates for the upcoming Tyendinaga Mohawk Council election is set.
A nomination meeting for the Chief and councillor positions was held Saturday.
R. Donald Maracle is once again running for Chief. Also running for Chief is Andrew Miracle.
Seven people are vying for the four councillor spots.
Two of them, Josh Hill and Carl Ted Maracle, are seeking reelection.
Also running are Kurtis (Chip) Brant, Erin Ferrante, Manson Loft, Stacia L. Loft and Chris Maracle.
The election will be held December 4 at Quinte Mohawk School.
