On Friday October 22, 2021 just before 11:00 p.m., members Of Prince Edward County OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision on Loyalist Parkway in Ameliasburgh Ward.
Officers arrived and spoke with the driver. As a result, a standard field sobriety test was administered.
Alex Borbely, age 49, from Prince Edward County, was arrested and charged with operation while Impaired – alcohol and drugs..
The driver had their licence suspended and vehicle impounded.
The driver was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on November 10, 2021.
