Albert College has a new Chair of its Board of Governors.
Elizabeth Cameron, who has been a member of the Belleville private school’s Board since 2015 when her three children were students, took over the role earlier this month.
She is a former member of the Canadian Armed Forces and is currently s a part-time Professor at Loyalist College.
Cameron says, “I am very honoured to take on the role of Chair. Albert College and the Belleville community have
been such an important part of our lives over these past few years, and I am very excited to have the
opportunity to continue to serve our community in this capacity.”
She will work with the Board to continue to implement the 2018-23 Strategic Plan.
Cameron succeeds past Chair Alison Gilbert from Prince Edward County, whose tenure includes eight years on the board with two years as Chair.
