Prince Edward County OPP have laid drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop on Picton’s Main Street early Monday.
Officers stopped a vehicle shortly after 1 o’clock in the morning and discovered the driver had a suspended licence.
A search of the vehicle turned up a quantity of cocaine, opioid, heroin, and other drugs.
Facing charges are Daryel Kellar of Madoc and Opal Bird of Quinte West.
Both are 44 years of age.
They next appear in court November 24.
