Several hospitals in Ontario have mandated that visitors produce proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 before they’re being allowed to enter.
That’s not the case at Quinte Healthcare hospitals but QHC’s Director, Communications and Organizational Development Catherine Walker says proof of full vaccination for visitors is an option now being actively considered.
Currently visitors and care partners are only asked questions about their health and travel history at the door.
Walker says any change in policy will be publicly announced.
