Tweed could decide on Wednesday whether or not COVID-19 vaccinations will be mandatory for a broad range of people connnected to the municipality.
Early in September Tweed council directed staff to bring forward a policy.
At that time council had asked for a voluntary one.
Such a policy was brought forward in a draft form on September 28. but council decided to consider a mandatory one.
CAO Gloria Raybone tells Quinte News she has summarized all council comments for the meeting.
“They’ll be reviewing all of the comments and making the decision as to whether they wish to go with mandatory or not.”
The ruling will affect councillors, municipal staff, volunteers and committee members.
