The Hastings Prince Edward District School Board identified two students who have tested positive for COVID-19 over the weekend.
One was at Tyendinaga Public School and the other at V.P. Carswell Elementary School in Trenton.
All high risk contacts have been contacted by the school board and advice has been sent to those considered low risk contacts.
The schools will not be closed and classes will resume Tuesday.
Meanwhile, local COVID-19 updates aren’t provided on weekends and the next update from Hastings-Prince Edward Public Health is expected Tuesday.
