The Kids Can’t Wait Radiothon has been hailed a success.
Final figures aren’t in yet but as of 6 o’clock Wednesday evening, when the radiothon officially ended, $72,000 had been raised.
Executive Director of the the Children’s Foundation Kim Henry was overwhelmed with the community’s generosity and said the money will help many children through the Foundation’s programs and services.
The radiothon was a collaboration between seven local radio stations, volunteers, sponsors, and the Children’s Foundation.
