Flags at the Municipality of Brighton’s offices have been lowered this week to recognize the passing of former Deputy Mayor Roger McMurray.
Mayor Brian Ostrander announced at council that McMurray passed away over the weekend.
McMurray served one term on the last council and chose not to run for reelection in 2018.
