Haliburton Highlands OPP are investigating the circumstances of a single off-road vehicle collision that sent one man to hospital.
On September 17, 2021, police, Haliburton County Paramedics and Minden Hills Firefighters were called around 6:20 p.m. to a single off-road vehicle collision on Black River Road.
As a result of the collision one man was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre in critical condition via Ornge air ambulance.
The investigation by the Technical Collision Investigation Unit is ongoing and more information will be released when it becomes available.
Police are reminding off-road vehicle riders to practice safe driving and to always carry appropriate safety equipment when riding.
