Participants of the Belleville Terry Fox Run are gearing up for Sunday’s run in support of cancer research.
The 41st annual Belleville Terry Fox Run is happening virtually for the second year in a row as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the organizers, fundraising currently sits at $20,833 which is short of 2020’s total of $36,000.
However, they are anticipating a big donation push on race day.
Anyone looking to participate or donate can swing by Zwick’s Park Sunday between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m where shirts will be on sale for $20.
You can drop off cash or cheque donations made out to the Terry Fox Foundation.
Participants are encouraged to share their walk, run or cycling on social media and to tag @terryfoxbellpec on Instagram and Twitter as well as @terryfoxcanada on Twitter and @terryfoxfoundation on Instagram.
