Uens Pole Line defeated the Melrose Farrell Excavating Shamrocks 7-4. With the win, Uens improves their record to 7-3 on the season.

Parkhurst Tripps Pirates are back to 500 ball after defeating the Tyendinaga Mudhens 13-2.

Pirates now at 5 wins 5 losses this year.

It was the last night of regular season for the Thursday Night Senior Fastball League @ Tom Gavey Alemite park.

The first game had Ian Wallwork and Dan Wallwork share the combined win of 11-0 over Duval and Clark.

The second game featured Will Claus throwing a complete 2-0 game shut out vs Danford And Sons Construction with 11 strikeouts and 4 walks with Adam Danford taking the loss

The offence for the Sox lead by Curtis Locke, Ryan Foote and Owen Hayes.

Tournament playoffs start Friday night with Danford and Sons vs Duval and Clark @ 6:30p.m. and Tera Vista County Rockies vs the MJG Electrical Red Sox

Action picks up Saturday at Alemite starting @9:00 a.m. and the championship game schedule for 2:00 p.m.

Tryouts are about to start for the Belleville Dawgs of the Fergie Jenkins League.

The U-13 up to U-17 teams have tryouts every Thursday of September for $10 at Rotary Park at 6:30 p.m.
