Hundreds of cyclists will descend on Prince Edward County this weekend for the third annual County Gran Fondo.
Saturday’s event is expected to draw as many as 400 cyclists who will tackle 50, 100 or 150-kilometre rides, all leaving from Isaiah Tubbs Resort.
Organizers say the County Gran Fondo is a great event for new and experienced cyclists.
Motorists can expect high volumes of cyclists on County roads between 8:00 a.m. and approximately 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, including Sandbanks Provincial Park, County Road 13 leaving Milford, County Roads 7 & 8 surrounding Waupoos, and Ridge Road coming into West Lake.
Registration is still open.
