The Belleville Police Service responded to 71 calls from August 31, 2021 at 5 a.m. to September 1, 2021 at 5 a.m.
Public Intoxication
On August 31, 2021 at 9:20 p.m., officers attended the harbour area where it was reported a woman appeared in distress. Police quickly located the women and determined she was intoxicated. A 68-year-old Belleville women spent a few hours in the cells sobering up before she was released.
Breach of Bail
On August 31, 2021 at 10:20 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance on North Park Street. While on scene, officers discovered a subject who was on outstanding charges with conditions of house arrest. A 37-year-old Quinte West man was arrested and has a bail hearing today on charges of Breach of Recognizance.
