The municipality of Prince Edward County is looking for community members to volunteer their time to fill a variety of committee vacancies.
The search is open for members of the newly minted Street Naming Task Team which will review and research all suggestions and nominations for street names in the county.
Further committee vacancies include:
- Cemetery Advisory Committee – two members
- Accessibility Advisory Committee – one member
- Museum Advisory Committee – one member
- Heritage Advisory Committee – one member
- Community and Economic Development Commission – one youth member (between the ages of 16 and 25)
Any resident, property owner and/or business owner in Prince Edward County over the age of 16 is eligible to apply.
The deadline to apply is September 8 at 4 p.m.
