On August 23, 2021 at 12:50 p.m., officers responded to an address in the west end on the report of a break and enter. Officers located and arrested a suspect nearby. A 26-year-old from Belleville has a bail hearing on August 24, 2021, and was charged with B&E, breach of an undertaking and breach of probation.
Mischief
On August 23, 2021 at 4:50 p.m., police responded to the TD Bank at Front St and Bridge St. An unknown suspect had thrown a rock through a window causing extensive damage. Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact Constable Dillon at (613) 966-0882 ext 4220 or CrimeStoppers.
