Two people are facing charges following a drug investigation by Quinte West OPP.
Thursday afternoon, the OPP Community Street Crime Units (CSCU) of Quinte West, Central Hastings, and Prince Edward County assisted by the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a search warrant at a residence on Dixon Drive in Trenton.
A quantity of suspected cocaine, drug paraphernalia, as well as Canadian currency were seized.
53-year-old Kimberly Hicks and 56-year-old Suzanne Witkowski, both of Quinte West, face charges of Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and Possession of the proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Both were released from custody with undertakings and are scheduled to appear in court September 27.
