Hastings Prince Edward Public Health reported seven new cases of COVID-19 Friday with one case being a fully vaccinated individual.
Two of the cases are partially vaccinated with the other four being unvaccinated.
Three cases are related to close contact, one to travel, two local spread and the cause of the other case pending.
There are 28 active cases with the dashboard showing three recoveries since the health unit’s last report on Wednesday.
No one is being treated in hospital at this time.
Two outbreaks remain active with seven cases connected to a Prince Edward County workplace outbreak and eight to a Frankford party.
Sixty-nine percent of local residents age 12 and up have received both doses of a COVID vaccine while 81 percent are partially vaccinated.
Over the last week, another 922 individuals got their first shot and more than 2,700 became fully vaccinated.
Hastings Prince Edward Health continues to operate several walk-in and pop-up vaccination clinics across the region with a limited number of appointments also available at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.

In Northumberland, four new cases were reported on Friday.
There are six active cases.
