Belleville Police are investigating a fire that happened in the city late Friday night.
Police say that firefighters were called to Yeomans Street at approximately 11:30 p.m. for reports of a couch and other items on fire near a home.
The fire was extinguished and, upon further investigation, it was found that the fire was set intentionally.
Officers are asking that anyone with information on the fire call Belleville Police or CrimeStoppers.
