Stunt Driving on Bell Blvd
On July 23, 2021 at 7:40 p.m., police on patrol observed a vehicle at very high speed, just west of Sidney Street. The vehicle was locked on radar at 101 km/hr in a 50 km/hr zone. The 22-year-old Belleville man was later released with a summons to court in September. His licence was suspended for seven days and his vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
Liquor Licence Act
On July 23, 2021 at 9:02 p.m., police were called to an east end location for a report of a male intoxicated in an apartment hallway. When police arrived, they located the male who was heavily intoxicated due to the consumption of several alcoholic beverages. The male was arrested for being intoxicated in a common area for his own safety. The 27-year-old Belleville man was later released with a Provincial Offence Notice charged with being intoxicated in a common area.
