A Belleville man has been charged after allegedly throwing a beer bottle at another person.
Belleville Police were called to a local bar just before midnight last night where the incident took place.
Investigators say a verbal argument escalated, with the suspect eventually throwing the bottle at another man, who sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries to his face.
Twenty-two-year-old Lucas Shuttleworth has been charged with assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm and was released with a court date on September 9.
