The Quinte West Chamber of Commerce says it has handed out thousands of rapid antigen screening tests to local businesses, to help them protect their employees and customers from being infected by COVID-19.
A total of 53 business are so far taking part in the free program, which helps identify employees who are asymptomatic or pre-symptomatic and stop the spread.
The program is open to all businesses under 150 employees and anyone interested can contact the Chamber (613-392-7635), or click here to learn more.
The Chamber is also thanking the City of Quinte West which has sponsored the program by covering the costs of bio hazard pick-up and NRZ Safety Inc. which has donated 11,500 masks.
