A single vehicle collision on Highway 401 in Quinte West Saturday evening has resulted in charges against one person.
Quinte West OPP say a westbound vehicle struck the centre median near St. Hilaire Road.
A passenger was transported to hospital by paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries while the driver was not hurt.
Forty-four-year-old Victor MacLeod of Quinte West was charged with operation while impaired and driving while under suspension and is scheduled to appear in court in August.
His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
