Hastings Prince Edward Public Health reported two new cases of COVID-19 Friday, both in Belleville.
They bring the number of active cases to five.
The cause of one case is attributed to travel while the cause of the other is pending.
The HPE Public Health dashboard shows one person remains hospitalized.
Fifty-five per cent of people age 12 and up have now received both doses of a COVID vaccine while 79% have been given a first dose.
In the last seven days, just over 2,000 people got their first shot while almost 15,000 people became fully vaccinated.
There are still no active cases in Northumberland.
There were 159 new cases of COVID-19 reported Friday by the Ontario government along with 10 more deaths linked to the virus.
