A Project Renewal takedown on Highway 401 on Wednesday has led to charges against a 44-year-old Belleville man.
Officers from the Belleville Police Service and OPP made the stop and found three men in the car, along with 567 morphine pills.
The initial investigation has led to charges against just one of those men, Josh Foster, who’s charged with drug possession for the purpose of trafficking.
He was released with a court date in August.
Project Renewal is an ongoing joint-forces police initiative, aimed at stopping the illegal sale of drugs in the Quinte Region.
