The Lennox and Addington SPCA is giving nine dogs from the U.S a chance at a new life.
The dogs arrived in Ontario last week and were brought to multiple SPCA sites across southern Ontario, including Lennox and Addington.
The dogs will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, have health assessments and be micro chipped before they begin their search for forever homes.
The Ontario SPCA began partnering with U.S based animal agencies in May and since have brought over 60 dogs who were facing uncertain futures due to shelter capacities to Ontario to find homes.
