Some Prince Edward County residents feel that strict parking regulations implemented by council earlier this year are unfair to residents.
A group is making a deputation to council at Tuesday’s meeting regarding what they feel are unfair parking restrictions.
In the deputation they say that the rules prevent access to long used water access roads at places like Hyucks Point, North Beach Road and Stinson Block.
They’re advocating for changes to the rules that would allow for residents to use these access points while keeping with council’s stance on parking.
Later in the meeting council will review a staff report recommending a list of amendments to the parking by-law including some of the items listed in the deputation.
