Belleville police pulled a driver banned from driving in Canada for life off the road Friday.
Police say that around 5 p.m. an officer initiated a routine traffic stop for a vehicle in the area of Sidney Street and College Street West.
Investigation revealed that the driver, 67-year-old Eugene Leroy Hubley of Marmora, has been prohibited from driving in the country for life.
Hubley was arrested and charged with operating while prohibited and was released with a court date set for September 23.
