Some heavy rain and thunderstorms are forecast for the Quinte Region through Thursday afternoon and into the evening.
Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Belleville, Quinte West and Eastern Northumberland County.
The warning is also in effect for Cobourg, Colborne and Western Northumberland County.
Some areas could see total rainfall amounts of 50 to 75 mm by early this evening.
Environment Canada says heavy downpours could cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.
Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
