It’s going to be another warm and humid day in the Quinte region and the City of Quinte West has opened a cooling centre for people needing a place to escape the stifling heat.
The cooling centre will be at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Arena in Trenton and will operate from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Masks will be required.
The cooling centre will remain open as long as high temperatures persist.
