One person was airlifted by ORNGE after they were struck by a vehicle Thursday afternoon in Alnwick-Haldimand.
Northumberland OPP say emergency crews responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian just before 1 p.m. on Canada Day.
The pedestrian suffered major injuries.
Northumberland Today reports the collision occurred on 2nd Line at Marsden Lane where a vehicle failed to negotiate a curve in the road and struck a person who was trimming grass.
OPP say Central Region Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) conducted an investigation at the scene.
The investigation remains on going.
