At approximately 1 p.m. on June 29, 2021, officers from the Central Hastings OPP, along with the Central Hastings OPP Community Street Crime Unit were patrolling the Municipality of Marmora & Lake when they observed an all-terrain vehicle reported stolen from Tweed.
As a result of the investigation, Matthew FRENCH, 29 years old and Victoria BROWN, 28 years old of Marmora and Lake were arrested and charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000 x 2 counts
The accused were both released from custody with a first appearance scheduled for August 12, 2021 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville Ontario.
