The provincial government is providing more money for public transportation in Hastings-Lennox and Addington riding.
MPP Daryl Kramp says Deseronto will receive over $135,000 over two years and the County of Lennox and Addington will get over $171,000 over two years.
The extra funding will help those municipalities restore public transportation services as the COVID-19 pandemic winds down.
The funding is coming from the province’s Community Transportation Grant Program.
