On Sunday June 20, 2021 at approximately 2:42 p.m., officers from the Northumberland OPP, Fire and Emergency Medical Services, responded to a serious single-vehicle collision on County Rd 9 near Reyns Road in Hamilton Township.
The collision involved a single motor vehicle that left the roadway.
Four occupants in the vehicle suffered injuries as a result of the collision.
One of the occupants suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted by Ornge for medical treatment.
A section of County Rd 9 from County Road 18 to Corkery Road remained closed for several hours while OPP Technical Collision Investigators conducted an investigation.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
