Quinte West firefighters are getting pretty familiar with responding to calls at a certain scrap yard on Subway Road in Trenton.
For the second time in about a month and the third time this year, crews were called to Karten Metals around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, after multiple 911 calls reporting visible smoke.
It took about an hour to get the flames under control, with firefighters remaining on scene until about 8:00 last night.
No other details were released, so there’s no word yet on a cause of the blaze.
There were no injuries reported.
