A big investigation is now underway at a still smouldering fire at Bay Marine in Bayside.
2 investigators from the Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office join detectives from the Quinte West OPP, and firefighters on scene. An investigation is expected to last through the weekend.
Several expensive boats were destroyed in the main building at Bay Marine. Quinte West fire crews were assisted by the 8 Wing Trenton fire department. Fire Chief John Whalen says the damage estimate is at least 2 million dollars.
