A traffic stop in Belleville’s east end Monday led to drug and weapons charges against a woman.
Police stopped a vehicle at Victoria Avenue and George Street and found illegal drugs in plain view inside.
Also seized was a taser.
Twenty-eight-year old Shannel King was charged with three counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000 and possession of a prohibited weapon.
She appears in court July 12.
