It was a weekend of fundraising, and fun, and a run.
The annual Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life was held, and this year the Quinte West, Belleville, and Prince Edward County runs were combined.
It was the Bay of Quinte Relay, and with the pandemic on, teams participated on their own.
Six teams, and 21 participants raised just under $16,000.
The team P.S. I Love You brought in just under $6,000 on their own.
Run Organizer Karen White says the hope for 2022 is that the run can be done in the community, with the pandemic in the rear view mirror.
