Belleville Police are putting out a warning after a pair of similar break and enter incidents in the northern part of the city.
Investigators say on May 21 a woman came back to her home on Highway 62 and a black SUV was parked in the driveway, with lights on in the home.
She told police that a woman came out of the home, wearing a black mask, got into the car and drove away.
Then on June 1, a young man found someone in his home on Farnham Road, but that suspect also got away from the scene.
The complainant told police that a woman in an older style black vehicle had pulled into the driveway the day before.
Residents are being reminded to lock their doors, keep an eye out for suspicious people or activity in their neighbourhoods, and report anything that seems off, to police.
