On May 26, 2021, at 9:20 p.m., police received a call to Bridge Street East regarding a suspicious vehicle parked in the roadway.
Police arrived and spoke to the female driver who was showing signs of impairment by drugs.
The female was arrested and police then located a quantity of drugs on her person.
Jessica Easterbrooke-Welsh, 49, of Belleville was charged with three counts of possession of drugs.
She was also issued a three-day licence suspension. She was released with a court date of July 19, 2021.
